Become a Member of the Croatian American Society

Joining the Croatian American Society is a great way to network and stay in touch with others in the Croatian American community. Your support of the Croatian American Society through your membership helps to celebrate the culture and heritage of the Croatian people in Louisiana and in Croatia. Membership to the CAS is for the year, beginning in January and ending in December. Membership is open to ALL nationalities. You don’t need to be Croatian to join, you just need to have an interest in Croatia and Croatian culture.

Membership Benefits

As a member of the CAS, you will not only be helping to share the culture, heritage, food and music of Croatia here in Louisiana, but you will also have access to a wide array of activities planned throughout the year. Here are some of the benefits of membership:

Access to member events throughout the year including:

  • Receive invitations to annual member events such as the Christmas party, Easter Egg Hunt, Good Friday Lunch, Croatian masses, concerts and more
  • Gather for member socials planned at the Croatian Cultural Center such as morning coffee, sports watching parties, lunches, barbeques, card nights, cooking demonstrations and more.
  • Discounts to CAS sponsored events such as the Annual Dance, Ladies Luncheon and other events.
  • Receive newsletters be the first to find out about new events and activities planned at the Croatian Cultural Center
  • Get access to consular services throughout the year to assist with Croatian citizenship and passports.
  • Discounted fees for Croatian language classes (coming soon)
  • Participation in the leadership through the CAS board after at least 2 years of membership.
  • Meet new people and connect with old friends.
  • Opportunities to engage the whole family with senior, junior and children’s memberships available and activities to appeal to a wide audience.
  • Access to rental of The Croatian House. *Must be a member for 2+ years to rent the facility.
